
Impact 30 was a fundraising campaign developed to demonstrate the transformative power of tech education and community investment. Centered on authentic alumni stories—such as Tara Simmons' journey from retail to a career in cybersecurity—the campaign aimed to raise support for aspiring technologists, with a suggested donation of $30 per supporter. Each contribution helped provide critical resources like training, mentorship, and job placement services for individuals from historically underrepresented communities in tech.
As a Digital Marketing, Content Creator, I helped craft emotionally resonant content across email and social platforms, developed countdown-driven messaging to drive urgency, and shaped the alumni narrative to inspire action. This campaign was not only a vehicle for fundraising but also a platform for representation, equity, and impact. My role reflected my passion for purpose-driven storytelling and my commitment to building pathways for others to thrive in tech.
